Terms and Conditions
W1hardware ("we" and "us") operates the website (https://w1hardware.store/). By placing an order through this website, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are provided to ensure both parties are clear on the arrangement and to establish mutual expectations for our services.
GENERAL Subject to stock availability. We make every effort to maintain accurate stock counts on our website, but occasionally, stock discrepancies may occur, and we may not be able to fulfill all items at the time of purchase. In this case, we will fulfill the available items and contact you to discuss whether you would prefer to wait for the backordered item or if you would like to receive a refund.
SHIPPING COSTS Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the items in your order. Shipping fees will be collected along with your purchase, and this will be the final shipping cost for your order.
RETURNS 3.1 Return Due to Change of Mind
W1hardware will accept returns due to a change of mind, provided a return request is made within 30 days of receiving the item. The item must be in its original packaging, unused, and in resellable condition. Return shipping will be at the customer's expense, and customers will need to arrange the shipping themselves.
Once your return is received and approved, refunds will be processed as W1hardware credit for future purchases. We will notify you by email once the credit is issued. W1hardware will refund the value of the returned goods, but the original shipping cost is non-refundable.
3.2 Warranty Returns
W1hardware will honor valid warranty claims submitted within 90 days of receiving the item. Customers will need to prepay return shipping, but W1hardware will reimburse return shipping costs upon successful warranty claims.
After receiving returned items for warranty claims, we will process the claim within 7 days. Once confirmed, you will be given the option of:
(a) A refund to your original payment method,
(b) A refund in W1hardware credit,
(c) A replacement item (if stock is available).
DELIVERY TERMS 4.1 Domestic Transit Time
- Economy: 5 to 8 business days, free.
- Standard: 3 to 4 business days, £15.
4.2 International Transit Time
Currently, we do not offer international shipping.
4.3 Dispatch Time
Orders are typically dispatched within 2 business days of payment. Our warehouse operates Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays. We take steps to minimize delays during these times.
4.4 Change of Delivery Address
Address changes can be accommodated before the order has been dispatched.
4.5 P.O. Box Shipping
We will ship to P.O. Box addresses via postal services only and cannot offer courier delivery to these locations.
4.6 Military Address Shipping
We can ship to military addresses using standard postal services only.
4.7 Out of Stock Items
If an item is out of stock, we will dispatch the in-stock items immediately and ship the remaining items once they are back in stock.
4.8 Exceeded Delivery Time
If your delivery time exceeds the expected timeframe, please contact us so we can investigate the issue.
TRACKING NOTIFICATIONS Once your order is dispatched, we will send you a tracking link to monitor your shipment's progress based on the shipping provider’s updates.
DAMAGED PARCELS IN TRANSIT If you receive a parcel that is damaged in transit, please reject the parcel from the courier, if possible, and contact customer service immediately. If the parcel was delivered while you were not present, contact us to discuss next steps.
DUTIES & TAXES 7.1 Sales Tax
Sales tax is included in the price of the goods as displayed on the website.
7.2 Import Duties & Taxes
For international shipments, import duties and taxes may be due upon arrival in the destination country. These fees vary by country, and we encourage you to be aware of these potential costs before placing your order.
If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival, the goods will be returned to W1hardware at your expense. You will receive a refund for the goods' value, minus the return shipping cost. The original shipping cost will not be refunded.
CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to cancel your order before it is dispatched, please contact us. If the order has already been dispatched, please refer to our return policy for further assistance.
INSURANCE Parcels are insured for loss or damage up to the value declared by the courier.
9.1 Damaged Parcel Process
Refunds or replacements will be processed once the courier has completed their investigation into the claim.
9.2 Lost Parcel Process
Refunds or replacements will be issued after the courier has conducted their investigation and confirmed the parcel is lost.
